Many years ago majorettes literally crossed my path on my way to a restaurant. There was an older policeman who made me stop my car to allow them to pass. So I watched them long enough to become interested. Fate is sometimes quite determined, isn’t it?
Now, I have spent 4 or 5 hours browsing through some of the pictures and it seems impossible to select representative body of photographs in this field. I have been shooting with and for majorettes for so many years. I have attended so many local, national a and international competitions and so many rehearsals/trainings. I have used so many differenced photographic approaches and styles. All this resulted in tens of thousands images I hold dear for one reason or another.
Most of the photographs below are snapshots from regular competitions or trainings.
